Internships are a great way to gain valuable work experience and insight to a career. Students can complete an internship experience on their own (without school supervision/oversight) or if they want to earn 1 regular or honors credit for the internship, they can work through the career development coordinator to complete the necessary paperwork and assignments throughout the semester.
Students must secure their own internship site. Some locations where students have completed internships are City of Raleigh, North Ridge Country Club, Curtis Media Group, Baileywick YMCA, Douglas Elementary, NC Department of Public Instruction, NC Medical Society, Chesapeake Homes, Fonville Morrisey, & Homes by Dickerson.
