American Legion Student Trooper Program 
Juniors and seniors (male & female students) may apply to the Student Trooper Program.

Where:  NC Highway Patrol Training Center in Raleigh
​Each applicant must be sponsored by an American Legion Post.  Call 919-832-7506 if you need help in finding a sponsoring post.  Students will participate in a wide variety of instructional sessions.  The purpose is to "create an association between our young people and the folks responsible for enforcing the laws of our State."  Application and additional details in the career center.
